Amazon has a diverse set of global businesses, and each business has some level of compliance requirements across multiple areas, including Payments, Trade, Human Resources, Tax, Social Responsibility, and others. Enterprise ­­Risk Management and Compliance works with various businesses to identify regulatory requirements and establish effective processes, controls and monitoring procedures to understand current status of compliance and identify gaps. This team may also assist in risk ranking and mitigation of gaps identified throughout the organization. The ERMC Quality Team is responsible for ensuring that investigation quality reaches the highest possible quality bar, with a primary focus on Denied Party and Sanctions screening investigations. The Compliance Quality Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the accuracy of Sanctions investigations through audits. They will also be expected to recommend process improvements based on defect analysis. The role of the Compliance

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Advanced MS Excel ability (including VBA), ability to efficiently analyze data, and produce professional reports • Experience utilizing SQL • Experience with various QA methodologies and tools including Lean Six Sigma • Two years’ experience with QA Process • Demonstrated knowledge of Denied Party Sanctions requirements and experience working with sanctions screening systems · Regulatory and compliance (OFAC/BIS/DOS) experience Advanced analytics background · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail · An eye for detail and data accuracy
