The Role: This position requires superior analytical thinking, and ability to apply technical and statistical knowledge to identify opportunities to improve processes at Amazon Go. You should be able to mine and analyze data, and be able to use necessary programming and statistical analysis. · Advance degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field and 2+ years of industry experience · 3+ years’ experience in building, iterating and validating statistical models · Strong working knowledge of knowledge management, data cleaning, machine learning, and analytics techniques. · Fluency in R, Python or a similar modeling language and in SQL · Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java or C++ · Strong verbal and written communication, influencing and partnership skills · Ability to deal with ambiguity
