Amazon is looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starting Quality Manager to join our Food Safety and Quality Department. The Seattle based role will focus specifically on driving food quality initiatives in the Amazon branded fresh grab-and-go and Mealkit products. Successful candidates: · Work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement an end-to-end quality program for our fresh food production business. · Develop a system to validate the quality of product against technical specifications in a programmatic manner and across the supply chain from inbound (raw materials)
· · Bachelor degree or equivalent in Food Science or a related field. · · Minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of food science or a closely related profession.(Within that 6 years, must have at least 3 years of experience developing and executing food shelf-life tests, food product/supply chain tests, food sensory panels, and interpreting/reporting on results OR must have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or foodservice facility, retail QA or R and D role.) · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Exceptional organizational skills. · Ability to work independently
