The AWS Documentation team plays a key role in helping our customers to get started quickly, and ensure that the technical details of our products are clearly described and easier to understand. We have an exciting opportunity for a programmer writer on our team, to create getting-started guides, in-depth documentation on product features, and API reference materials. You'll also continuously improve existing documentation, based on customer feedback. Your work will be an integral part of customer-facing AWS documentation for database services - purpose-built relational and non-relational solutions to handle the specific needs of customers' applications. As a programmer writer at AWS, you'll work directly with development teams in a cross-functional, distributed environment. You'll need a technical background that enables you to work effectively

· Degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science or a related field. · Experience designing and delivering developer documentation. · Ability to write example code in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript. · Proven experience using and following a style guide. · Experience using multiple documentation tools to write, format, manage, and publish high-quality content. · Experience working with XML-based publishing systems.· A minimum of 1 year of experience as a technical writer in a relevant field. · Experience with cloud computing, web services, IaaS,
