The Kindle Content Pricing team is seeking a motivated self-starter who’s passionate about developing strategy and new initiatives to impact the future of our business. The Pricing Program Manager will be responsible for driving a wide variety of projects across multiple marketplaces. You will own the pricing projects from definition through execution and work cross-functionally with product, finance, vendor management, operations, and tech teams. You’ll have the opportunity to: · Evaluate the ebook competitor landscape and adjust our pricing strategy accordingly, balancing a strong customer focus with profitability initiatives · Develop and report on key pricing metrics to Kindle Content leadership · Understand business objectives from various stakeholders and continually align your work with those objectives · Analyze and develop solutions for business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context. · Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, math or general business area · 3+ years of relevant experience · Knowledge of pricing, accounting, financial, operational, and marketing principles· Demonstrated experience in pricing strategy, analytics, and management · Experience solving complex quantitative business challenges; experience in the development of pricing analysis is a strong plus · Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences · Ability to think creatively, deal with
