Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to join the Global Tax organization within Finance. This role sits in our Tax Operations team, which partners with stakeholders across Amazon Finance to ensure financial compliance and controllership for the Global Tax organization. This Program Manager will be responsible for the Global Tax Vendor Procurement Program, which currently encompasses roughly 150 vendors globally. As part of our team’s responsibility, we are continuously looking for ways to enhance and streamline existing programs, and think big to develop new and innovative solutions for our stakeholders and customers. Successful candidates will have had exposure to the Finance and Technology domains, and be well versed driving programs across diverse groups of stakeholders. · 3+ years of experience - must have some exposure in two out of three of: Finance (preferably Tax and Accounting), Program Management, or vendor procurement, where you have demonstrated Amazon’s leadership principles · Bachelor’s degree; business administration, accounting or tax preferred.· · · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines · Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams · Experience leveraging technology to develop and improve processes
