Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, delivery partners act as their own boss. They can build their own schedule and choose from different types of opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while making great earnings. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems, allowing delivery partners to sign in, grab an offer for a delivery time, check out a map of the delivery location, and more. We are seeking a Principal, WW Business Development for Amazon Flex. In this role you will define the strategic vision for business development, including writing business plans that evaluate the the economic and strategy cost-benefit of partnerships. You will support Amazon Flex's strategic objectives and interests on a global basis, partnering closely with individual country teams to implement programs and drive success. You will own
· BA/BS required · · 10+ years of experience in business development/strategic partnerships, and complex management with proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation. · · End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships. · · Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams. · MBA or Master’s degree · · Experience managing contract processes with internal or outside counsel · · Highly developed and polished written and verbal communication skills.
