Osmium is Amazon’s SoA “Cost Profiler” that will determine the fully landed technology costs of running various businesses by instrumenting and analyzing through the service architecture. Osmium is part of the eCommerce Foundational Technology organization that builds and operates core technology for Amazon’s Consumer, Digital and Other businesses. We are looking for a Sr. Manager with strong technical background and experience in leading company-wide strategic initiatives with resounding impact across the organization. As a Principal TPM on the Osmium team, you will define and continuously shape the strategic vision for Osmium by working with key stakeholders and leaders across Amazon. You will periodically review the strategy with and communicate progress to senior Tech and Finance leadership. As the owner of a core technology platform that teams across Amazon will depend on to make business impacting decisions, you will deliver systems with high quality and ensure they scale for Amazon’s
· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · 8+ years of industry experience in technical leadership and project management, with 5+ years of hands-on experience building software solutions within current industry standard technologies · 5+ years of program management experience · Ability to analyze business requirements, write specifications, scope technical requirements, and drive delivery across organizational boundaries · Track-record of effective collaboration with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to assemble
