Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) is storage for the Internet. Through the use of pioneering techniques in distributed computing, developers can durably store their data on AWS’s proven computing infrastructure to achieve virtually limitless storage capacity at minimal cost. Amazon S3 provides simple APIs that can be used to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. While the emerging area of cloud computing has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, we are still in the early stages of realizing its full potential. As a Principal TPM on the S3 Storage Engine team, you will lead an area of strategic importance across S3 and help shape the future of new initiatives in Storage. We are custodians of all of S3's customer data and have full control of how that data is accessed, stored, kept durable and highly available. We innovate both on the software side and the hardware side to lower latencies for customer storage requests, improve throughput

· 10 years experience in software design and development, including technical program leadership in a distributed systems space · Experience coordinating cross functional software/systems teams · Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules · Proven analytical thinking, skills in metrics creation and project management, attention to details, and exceptional organizational skills · Ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Track record of delivering results, ownership, and strong customer focus
