Position Summary Continuing to innovate and delight our customers is our passion. We are expanding the senior technical leadership to ensure our strategy and organization maximizes the historic opportunity we have to deliver on the future of video entertainment. Amazon Video has been offering Live content to our customers since end of 2015. In 2017, we successfully made NFL Thursday Night Football games available to Prime Video customers globally. Amazon Video has a long term vision and a bold roadmap to make more live content available for our customers globally. We are building out a new organization to focus on building Live content related services such as sports and events meta data and ontology, live event discovery, live event management services, integration with 3P event data services, policy management system, deals management system, and workflow systems to integrate with Prime Video playback, ads and catalog. As we expand our sports/event offering to our customers, we will evolve
Educational Requirements Required - Bachelors Degree. Preferred - MBA The candidate must have proven Technical Product Management experience, managing large scale systems owned by 100s of engineers. Previous deep technical experience is definitely a plus. Other key traits include: · Insists on high quality product launches and experienced with service development and operation lifecycle · Passion for delivering new products at scale · Expert at driving clarity where ambiguity exists · Ability to define scalable product management mechanisms across organizations. · Ability to work in an agile environment
