The Edge Performance PM Lead will drive the vision, evolution, execution and evangelism of the performance aspects of the Edge browser and its web platform. Reporting to and coordinating with the GPM, the PM Lead will be responsible for setting and executing the strategy to fulfill the needs of web developers, top web properties, key web apps, and Microsoft devices and services, apart from advancing the state of the art of web browser performance.

Key Responsibilities include: • Strategic Leadership: Work with the leadership team to define and communicate the Edge performance strategy. Drive strategy initiatives and provide thought leadership. Represent and communicate shared vision across the team and with stakeholders across the company. • Defining/Executing Performance Roadmap: Lead a team of Program Managers in defining and executing the roadmap for various enhancements and innovations to advance the browser state of the art as it relates to performance. Establish and ensure solutions meet the BXT (Business, Experience, Technology) KPIs
• 8+ years of related program management / technical product management experience • Full-stack web development experience or experience in improving fundamentals of web/application/cloud platform • Broad understanding of the web platform, web developer workflows, and web tools ecosystem • Strong project management and people management skills • Track record of building high functioning teams, including recruiting and retaining diverse talent • Proven competency in strategic leadership, organizational agility, cross-team collaboration, drive for results, and written and verbal communications •
