The Edge Developer Experiences team is responsible for the toolset that we provide to web developers to build, debug and deploy their HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and work with the rest of their toolchain. The team leads the charge for the DevTools, WebDriver, and WebHint, and also forges integrations with VS Code, TypeScript and other Microsoft teams that we can build great end-to-end experiences with. Areas that you will lead include: • Defining the strategy for web developer experiences including DevTools, WebDriver, WebHint and integration with other Microsoft and industry tools • Driving definition of product plans to execute on the strategy and oversee execution on delivery of those plans • Communicating effectively with the web developer community in-person and at scale • Leading open-source efforts to help the web developers work with Microsoft Edge • Growing a great team of Program Managers and helping to define team culture • Partnering with teams across the company, including DevDiv,
Minimum qualifications: • 7+ years of software development experience or a Degree in Computer Science, EE Preferred qualifications: • 10+ years of software development experience • 2+ years of people management experience • Front-end web development experience and knowledge • Broad understanding of the web platform, web developer workflows, and web tools ecosystem • Passion for working with customers and advocating for their requirements to be met by features
