AWS Talent Acquisition is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the AWS Bar Raiser (BR) Program globally. The Bar Raiser program is one of Amazon’s core mechanisms driving our high hiring bar, integrity of our interviewing practices, and cultivating our peculiar culture. Scaling and evolving the Bar Raiser (BR) program is key to success of talent acquisition supporting the growth of the AWS Business. This PM will work in a highly collaborative team environment, and will have the opportunity to bring creativity and innovation to the program. The successful candidate will work to align multiple stakeholder groups across the globe including hiring managers, interviewers and HR and recruiting teams. You will need to be able to effectively influence without direct authority, identify the right mechanisms and data to inspect the health of the program, and ultimately will ensure the sustainability and success of the BR program. · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience · 5+ years of program management to include complex leadership in a matrixed environment· Experience with Amazon’s hiring practices, preferably as a Bar Raiser · Passion for recruiting and hiring the best, an experienced and highly calibrated interviewer · Proven experience leading complex programs on a global scale · Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence and persuade without direct authority · Excellent analytical skills, ability to utilize data effectively to drive business outcomes · People leadership; this
