Returns management of complex consumer electronics is multi-dimensional. It entails a working knowledge of technical and business disciplines; while balancing customer experience with asset recovery and technology improvement. Amazon has strong product experience in digital devices such as ereaders, tablets, streaming media, audio and connected home products; Amazon is also a major retailer of mobility, gaming and computing products. Amazon has developed a global network of return centers that expediently process consumer goods to satisfy its customer needs and to remarket products at “as new” performance. Amazon Devices Reverse Logistics is looking for a Principal Product Manager who can define and lead world-class, innovative, Reverse Logistics processes for all Amazon verticals, leveraging existing know-how with new, innovative approaches to optimize for process velocity and economics. The Principal PM will focus on enhanced customer experience and coordinate with the technical team
· 7+ years product management, general management or P and L experience in a technological industry · 5+ years experience with Reverse Supply chain processes and methodologies · Bachelor’s degree · MBA · Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap · Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision · Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with pro-forma financial and operational analysis · Implementation orientation;
