Alexa is the cloud-based voice service behind the Amazon Echo and other voice-enabled devices. The Alexa Voice Service (AVS) team is responsible for enabling device makers to integrate Alexa into their products and make customers' daily lives easier and more convenient. We believe in customer choice, and in a future where intelligent agents complement one another to deliver richer and more helpful experiences. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead a strategic product role focused on this goal. The individual in this role will help determine how Alexa interacts with other services in a multi-agent world, which makes the role equal parts business strategy and product definition/delivery. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic business environment – operating at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will use a combination of high levels of customer empathy, outstanding business judgment, ability to work cross-functionally,
· 5+ years of experience owning and driving end-to-end product requirements across a multitude of teams both technical and non-technical · Experience running meetings and having product, strategic, and technical discussions with leadership · Bachelor’s degree or higher · Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment · Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines · Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
