The Visual Studio family continues to evolve and expand, and its engineering needs are diverse. Needs such as working on Open Source systems, contributing to Windows/other partner teams, supporting cross-platform, delivering solutions as a service, etc. The team is looking for a Softeare Engineering Manager who can help provide engineering system solutions to all these diverse needs, foster meaningful teamwork, reduce duplicate efforts and improve developer productivity for hundreds of engineers. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience developing production services Preferred Qualifications: Git, TFS, MSBuild, Azure and Web Service experience BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent experience Demonstrated solution delivery through a full product cycle in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
