Prime Video Channels, launched in 2015, distributes video channels OTT including HBO, Showtime, Starz, Acorn TV, PBS Masterpiece and many more channels without a cable subscription. Amazon is seeking a savvy and analytical senior strategic executive to join our Amazon Channels content acquisition team. This individual will be responsible for helping to define and, in turn, execute the content strategy
§ Bachelor’s Degree § 15+ years of experience in media industry, including consulting experience in the media industry for at least 4 years § Knowledge of digital video landscape § Excellent business judgment and demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically § Proven ability to write documents for senior level executives § Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations § Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
