The AWS Sports Marketing team is looking for a world-class candidate help identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close new sports marketing partnership deals. The successful candidate will have experience in Enterprise IT Sales, Business Development, and Strategic Planning. They will have the ability to influence executive decision makers, drive consensus within cross-functional teams including sales, product, BD, marketing, and legal. She/he must understand the IT trends impacting the sports and media industries (e.g. AI, ML, DL, OTT, IoT, and mobile) and be able to develop partnerships that demonstrate AWS capabilities in these areas. Roles and Responsibilities: · Manage existing partnerships within the AWS Sports Marketing team, including development of long-term account plans and joint GTM activities. · Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close new partnership deals. · Build relationships
· 10+ years of relevant business development or technical sales experience required · Track record of negotiating complex strategic partnership agreements · Ability to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment · Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations · Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions · Eagerness to travel regularly, including international travel (approximately 30% - 50% travel· Strong understanding of sports
