Amazon is seeking a self-motivated, creative and detail-oriented individual for the role of PR Manager, Physical Retail. The role is based in Seattle and Amazon provides a comprehensive relocation benefit. The core function of this role will be to coordinate and support public relations activities across physical retail stores in collaboration with PR counterparts. Key responsibilities include activities such as supporting launches and new innovations, devising and implementing PR plans for regional storytelling, supporting proactive and reactive media relations and developing PR communications processes across physical stores, including reactive media related to in-store associates and escalations. We’re looking for someone with high judgement that can support and advise Amazon physical stores teams as they tackle complex and challenging opportunities. You will have extensive experience in dealing with national, regional and local news desks on a variety of reactive and proactive topics,
· Develop communications-related processes across all of Amazon’s physical retail · Develop and execute proactive media campaigns to support launches and major retail holidays · Manage reactive and proactive media relations supporting across Amazon’s physical retail teams · Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with high judgment and professionalism · Work quickly and precisely under tight deadlines, and prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time · Willingness to represent Amazon as a spokesperson · Basic Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree · 8+ years of
