Position is for an Optical Test Engineer to support development of image quality and optical test solutions, and testing of display systems and sub-systems. This position is within a highly skilled team of optical design and test engineers. The work is in a collaborative team environment and the ability to communicate well with other team members and to support overall team goals is crucial.
Responsibilities will include testing display optical systems and sub-systems; developing image processing, image quality analysis and analyze data; architecting image quality, optical test solutions and provide associated BOM; performing Measurement Systems Analysis and GRR on test solutions; presenting to team and partners test architectures and analyzed test results; Deploying test solution to partners and supporting testing and failure analysis at partner locations.
Required Minimum of BS degree in Optics or Physics 5 years minimum experience developing optical imaging test and analysis systems Experience in data analysis and image processing/analysis Experience with MATLAB, Python, Statistical analysis and JMP Preferred Working knowledge of Systems Engineering principles Working knowledge of Colorimetry, Photometry and Image Quality testing Experience using and interfacing to light measurement and Imaging equipment Familiar with optical design concepts and theory Good communication, reporting and presentation skills Can work independently with minimal supervision
