Meetings and Events is a growing team, with a mission to build and deploy frictionless meeting and event experiences for our customers across Amazon corporate offices globally. Meetings and Events is looking for a customer-obsessed Technical Program Manager to join the team and help us develop the next generation meeting experiences. Meetings and Events develops the meeting room standards for Amazon’s corporate offices. We operate the meeting experience lab where new hardware and software is tested and evaluated. We design systems using a combination of 3rd party hardware (Cisco, Biamp, Crestron, Samsung etc.) and Amazon hardware (Echo) and products (Amazon Chime, Alexa for Business, AWS services). We write code and configurations that allow all of these to deployed and supported at Enterprise scale. In this role you will: -Work with customers and stake holders to gather use case data -Think Big on meeting experience end state -Write detailed narratives to align stakeholders thinking on
· 5+ years of technical program management experience · Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) · Experience deploying and supporting audiovisual systems and devices including control systems, video transmission and switching, audio conferencing · Strong attention to detail skills · Strong written communication and technical writing skills · Experience writing and editing in Python, Lua, JSON, XML· Experience working as a hardware product engineer · Knowledge of AWS Services and server-less architecture · InfoComm/AVIXA CTS, CTS-D certification Amazon is
