AWS Support is seeking an experienced technology manager to build then lead a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs). Your team will use the latest AWS technologies, working with engineers to focus on continuously improving the efficiency of our thousands of Cloud Support Engineers globally. In this role, you are surrounded by people that are smart, passionate about cloud computing, and who believe world class support services are critical to customer success. You will have direct influence on how thousands of people around the world leverage tools, interact with customers, and engage with internal engineering teams to ensure we deeply understand our customers and respond quickly to their needs. · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. In lieu of degree, additional years of hands-on experience may be substituted. · 5+ years of progressive management or indirect influencing of technical teams and stakeholders in program or project management, two years of which must involve hands on architecture and systems design in a global, matrix organization. · Possess self-drive to keep moving things forward even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge (avoid “analysis paralysis”). · Strong demonstrated ability driving incremental improvements across a diverse set of technologies
