Amazon is seeking an intellectually curious individual with strong skills and experience in the areas of program management, process analysis, process redesign, and analytics to join our North American Supply Chain and Transportation team. In this role, you will leverage statistics and visual analysis-based techniques and tools to analyze our shipment flow from our fulfillment centers through the vendor transportation network to final customer delivery. You will partner broadly with engineering, operations, and IT functions to identify opportunities to ship packages faster and cheaper while delivering on-time to meet customer promises. Ultimately, your goal will be to realize these opportunities while working within a matrix organization to deliver results. This role provides the opportunity for broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams within Amazon. The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys and excels at diving into data to analyze root causes and implement

· Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or 2+ years of Amazon experience · 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management concepts i.e. forecasting, planning, optimization and logistics · 4+ years of qualitative/quantitative data analysis related to Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation -Logistics or Inventory Management · Project Management experience · Prior experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniques · Proficient in Excel and SQL/Unix · MBA or Master’s Degree in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics · 2+ years managing small to medium size (2-8) cross functional teams
