Come work at Amazon! The Role: You will be a power electronics subject matter expert leading an engineering team responsible for new product development. You will help grow the capabilities by managing power architecture, innovating power conversion efficiency / battery storage / safe operation, and coordinating with multiple teams (EE, battery, thermal, etc.). This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you’ll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience · 7+ years of electrical engineering experience, specifically in power electronics · 3+ years of management experience, managing 4+ people · Experience working with team for power budgets, allocation between systems, fault systems (like overcurrent), and bring up / test of systems (for servers, cars, robotics, or other higher power solution) · Experience with calculating power needs and battery life over charge cycles and lifetime · Experience designing, testing, and debugging power electronics such as DC/DC power conversion,
