We are currently looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Finance Manager to join our growing Marketplace team in our headquarters in Seattle. The ideal candidate has outstanding business acumen, intense curiosity, excellent analytical abilities and superior written and verbal communications skills. The candidate will have a strong bias towards data-driven decision-making and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The role requires strong understanding of large datasets and Finance, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, an entrepreneurial ability to work with minimal direction, and rapid prototyping. The successful candidate will have the freedom to think big, innovate and create new processes and mechanism
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, math or related field • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience • Strong technical Excel skills and experience with financial system such as Cognos, TM1 or similar • Working experience with SQL and/or Python • Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting and variance analysis • Fluent in English • Experience in Retail, FMCG, e-commerce in a large, matrixed and globally operating company • Supported the professional development of junior team members Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority
