Amazon is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead audits across Amazon. Our primary mission is to perform independent and objective assessments of business activities and related controls with the goal of improving operations, compliance, risk management, and the overall system of internal controls. As an Audit Manager, you will lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of audits based on identified risks. You will also assist in risk assessments and developing audit strategies and establish relationships with senior leaders across the business, finance, and legal. You will provide consultative support to business partners to identify opportunities for control improvements with the objective of mitigating risk and improving compliance and operational performance. In this capacity, you will gain valuable exposure to many areas within our global business. You will lead people, direct meetings, and be a champion for positive change. · BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field · 5+ years of experience with operational auditing, risk management, compliance, or financial analysis · Graduate or advanced degree · Experience in performing technical assessments and audits of network, operating systems, application security, as well as auditing IT processes and IT general controls · Experience and proficiency in public speaking · Experience leading risk assessments and defining audit roadmaps
