Amazon Pets is looking for a driven, highly analytical retail professional with proven experience creating processes, driving improvement, and championing innovative thinking. This In-Stock Manager will be responsible for driving scalable inventory management strategies across the largest Pets categories and projects. To do so, you will need to work with teams across the company and be a thought leader by influencing others all while maximizing customer experience, sales, margin, and turns. The In-Stock Manager drives system and process improvements while partnering with our top vendors to realize supply chain efficiencies. This leader will demonstrate strong quantitative/analytical aptitude and will be responsible for financial analysis and decision making related to inventory purchasing, managing overstock inventory, promotional buys and improving overall inventory efficiency. This person will work with engineering teams across Amazon to optimize buying systems such as those that generate
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline • 2+ years of experience in operations, retail, engineering, consulting and/or finance with a history of driving results • Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving and communicating recommendations • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously • Strong written and verbal communication skills• Strong analytical aptitude with
