The Amazon HR Services Solutions (HRSS) team is responsible for building solutions that enhance how HR Services are delivered to Amazon’s hundreds of thousands of employees around the world. HRSS builds their flexible solutions by using a combination of custom code, AWS cloud technologies, and 3rd party software. Creativity and scalability are pivotal in meeting the ever-growing demands of Amazon’s employees. The HRSS team is looking for a passionate Infrastructure Analyst to work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to design, build, and support IT solutions. The ideal candidate will come in with experience and a passion for deploying and managing reliable cloud-based environments. As a part of the HRSS team, you will be expected to work closely with other project team members to define infrastructure requirements,
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required · 4+ years of systems engineering experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems · In depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies · Experience deploying cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred) · Experience providing support, maintenance and administration of enterprise-level infrastructure· Experience with continuous deployment and continuous integration solutions · Knowledge of object-oriented development (i.e. Java, Python, Ruby) · Working knowledge of Agile development methods
