Amazon Web Services is seeking a Global Technical Program Manager (TPM) to architect, lead and drive the deployment of ICT based projects, from inception through concept, feasibility, requirements, design, implementation, testing and deployment, across the globe. The successful candidate will have experience as a technical program manager leading large-scale, cross-functional, global data center or ICT projects with experiential breadth in architecture, design, construction, mechanical/electrical plant, procurement, cabling, networking, software development and depth in one of these areas. The Global TPM will: · Build and lead cross-functional matrix-based teams, across different countries, time-zones, cultures, languages and local customs. · Manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery. · Facilitate technical whiteboard sessions across remote teams and subject matter experts to troubleshoot and problem-solve
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience. · 5+ years of technical program management experience · 5+Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, along with risk and critical path management. · 5+ years experience with MS Project, MS Office and MS SharePoint· 10+ years experience managing complex technology infrastructure projects · Data Center, networking engineering, and/or systems engineering knowledge · Knowledge of networks and data-center operations · Experiential breadth
