At Amazon, the Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) team is helping to fuel our explosive growth by identifying innovative sourcing strategies and negotiating sustainable, long-term partnerships with key suppliers. Amazon is seeking a senior procurement leader that has extensive experience with negotiating complex global sourcing projects directly with C-level executives. The scope of the sourcing role will be global and across Amazon’s many business units. This pivotal role will lead key sourcing projects and work with Amazon’s internal business leaders, the GCP team and other Procurement departments across Amazon. The goal is to develop and implement global strategic sourcing solutions that are the most advantageous for Amazon over the long term. GCP sourcing categories under management include (but not limited to) Professional Services, Marketing, Software, Facilities, HR, etc. This role is reporting directly to Amazon’s Head of Corporate Sourcing. Key leadership traits required include

· 8+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, preferably with 3 years in an Indirect Procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts. · 8+ years of relevant procurement practices (category management, bench-marking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.). · BS/BA Degree. · Master’s Degree (MBA/MS) · Expert-level practitioner in negotiation/RFx, creating competitive environments, managing complex agreements, and communicating and presenting at senior executive levels. · Strong understanding of industry cost models and expertise in utilizing
