The Amazon Transportation Services business is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who brings the operational, technical and people skills required to support the expansion of our linehaul programs. Responsibility will include program management of initiatives related to fleet equipment, fuel, maintenance, spare parts, insurance, telematics and other value added services (VAS). Cumulatively, these VAS will improve the experience of logistics service providers (LSPs) providing Amazon’s North American Linehaul network with class 8 truck capacity for freight. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a priority growth area for Amazon. An ideal candidate has an extensive background in product, program, and technical leadership for large scale strategic initiatives. S/he will have a demonstrated track record of creating products and processes, managing third party performance, and influencing change internally and externally. · Bachelor’s Degree required · 5+ years relevant work and/or industry experience · Proven complex problem solving and project management skills · Demonstrable mathematics and analytical skills, using data to drive decisions · Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented work environment · Strong written and oral communication skills · Experience writing documents such as business requirements documents, standard operating procedures, proposals, business cases and product roadmaps.· · Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research, MBA or similar field
