Technologies (SCOT) Team Supply Chain Optimization
The Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) Team is looking for a Financial Analyst (FA) to support the SCOT Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) Technology team. The SCOT team is responsible for automating and optimizing Amazon’s world-class supply chain. It tackles some of the most complex supply chain problems, many at a scale that has never been done before. FBA is a strategic long-term opportunity that enables Amazon to improve the lives of sellers and buyers while leveraging our billion dollar logistics infrastructure. Our long-term vision is that customers can order and receive a sellers’ product the same day anywhere in the world. The FBA Technology team is responsible for enabling sellers to leverage Amazon’s tools in addition to building new tools to support FBA sellers. The successful candidate will work with senior leaders across the SCOT Business and Finance teams to provide insights and drive strategic decisions. · Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field · Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience · Strong interpersonal and communication skills — including written and oral communication · Ability to consistently meet deadlines, and provide well-vetted reporting and business recommendations · Advanced analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment· Demonstrated ability to drive change, including automating and simplifying processes · Facilitating and driving meetings with senior leaders · Experience writing SQL queries, knowledge
