and cross-org team Financial Analyst to
Amazon.com seeks a Financial Analyst to be a key partner for the high growth Video Advertising business, focused on video on demand services. Amazon.com is continuing to build out its successful advertising programs and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage the key performance indicators and uncover insight into our new over-the-top ad supported video services. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for overall metrics reporting/modeling and analysis for business reviews, month close, and product development. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and have passion for data and diving deep, appreciation for high standards in reporting, and dedication to providing insightful analysis in a fast-paced environment. He or she will be detail oriented and have the ability to work well with cross-functional and cross-org teams including Advertising, Fire TV, Amazon Video, and IMDb. Primary Responsibilities: · Creating and maintaining
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, finance, engineering or a related field · 3+ years of relevant financial analysis experience· Advanced Excel · Analytic, financial modeling or reporting skills required · Strong attention to detail and consistency · Prior experience with SQL for data retrieval requests and analyses · Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
