Amazon seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead the demand planning function for Kindle Content, one of Amazon’s most transformative businesses. This role owns Kindle Content’s revenue forecasting process from end to end, employing multiple complex forecasting techniques to triangulate on revenue expectations over both short and long range time periods. This position has direct ownership of traditional trend-based financial models, and requires ongoing partnership with Business Intelligence and Machine Learning scientists who are building the next generation of revenue forecasting. The insights that you will glean from your analysis in this role informs decision making all levels of the business, and Kindle Content leadership will look to you as the expert on forward looking revenue expectations. In addition to end-to-end ownership of the topline forecasting process, the roll also supports Kindle Content’s Demand Product Managers with financial analysis which aids in the design of new

· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, Economics, Engineering or similar discipline · 7+ years finance experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility · Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details while also seeing and understanding the big picture · Strong communication, including both written and oral · Superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously · Strong MS Office skills and advanced proficiency in Excel· Excellent analytical
