The Easement Acquisition
Do you get a thrill out of closing a good deal? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? The Easement Acquisition Specialist is responsible for implementing “right of way” and easement acquisition processes for conduit and fiber optic infrastructure in underground projects across the America’s region. This position interfaces with public and governmental entities to obtain and manage property rights for the company. Responsibilities for the role include: · Establishes procedures and priorities on right-of-way acquisition to determine project assignments to contract agents. · Works with survey companies to obtain surveys of properties for easement acquisition, permits, ditch crossings and other public utility crossings for legal placement of AWS facilities. · Works with survey companies to obtain plan and profiles on ditch, railroad, transmission, and highway crossings to obtain crossing agreements
· 1+ years’ experience working with easement acquisition and/or right-of-way management · Experience working with easements, licenses, right-of-way permits, and building entry agreements · Knowledge of underground construction methods · Experience with MS Office and GIS Tools · Valid driver’s license · Valid Real Estate License · Excellent attention to detail is essential · Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds
