This role will be responsible for quantify and managing the energy risk for Microsoft's Cloud and Infrastructure Organization (CI+O). Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of energy markets, finance, and policy.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to quantify Microsoft's energy market exposure, including data center consumption, renewable energy projects and financial contracts Lead development of quantitative models, metrics, and analysis of short and long-term risk related to commodity market. Plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for the whole energy team (both physical energy and financial renewable energy positions), including analysis of financial impacts. Develop, recommend and implement risk finance strategy with an aim to reduce overall cost of risk and volatility
