We are reinventing how we support startups and engage local startup ecosystems through our Microsoft for Startups program and a broad $500M company commitment to the global startup community. We are looking for a passionate, experienced business leader and people manager to help lead this reinvention as we build new products and programs designed to support startups and entrepreneurs around the world. Key Competencies and Responsibilities: Influence and Impact Builds upon deep knowledge of startups and startups ecosystems to deliver high-impact community experiences and events for startups. Partners closely with internal stakeholders, including the Microsoft for Startups leadership team and engineering teams to define global vision and then lead execution of community and events activities. Strategic Thinking Deconstructs the landscape of startups and startup partners and identifies the key challenges and opportunities for each segment within that landscape. Qualifications and Experience: You will need to build new partnerships across levels and teams at Microsoft to enable a more connected approach across the company. The ability to influence for impact is extremely important and we are looking for a proactive driver with a collaborative, outcome-driven reputation.
