We are actively hiring for a Digital Customer Support (DCS) Principal Software Engineering (SWE) Lead for the team that designs and builds software features, services, diagnostics and products to provide digital support experiences to customers and support engineers. This position reports to the DCS Software Engineering Director. The DCS SWE Lead will manage a team in one of 3 swim lanes - Experiences + Devices (E+D), Cloud + Artificial intelligence (C+AI), and Modern Life + Gaming.

As an engineering leader, you will be responsible for – people management, innovation, technical leadership and execution. You will lead the teams inventing, designing, building, and reiterating software features, services, diagnostics and products to provide digital support experiences to our customers and support engineers, and integrate with existing systems and platforms, as needed. At least 10 years of professional software development experience At least 6 years of people management experience BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Design or equivalent software/services experience Passion for innovation and customer service Demonstrated ability to put the product hat on, ideate and follow through with execution A passion for running an agile team that innovates, gets things done quickly and repeats Proven track record of designing and implementing highly scalable distributed services Effective communication skills and a history of growing people Excellent technical design,
