Do you want to get in on the ground floor of a new project to build systems, metrics and tools around how the Amazon Consumer organization powers its business? Do you love to innovate, discover knowledge from data and deliver results? We have an undefined problem space and are looking for a self-starter with strong dive deep skills. The Amazon Infrastructure Finance team is looking for a Data Scientist to own an end-to-end business problem which will have a direct impact on the bottom line of our business while improving customer experience. You will have heavy impact and high visibility to essential, business-critical processes, and will be responsible for supporting Senior Leaders across Amazon. You will partner with technology teams ranging from those responsible for running the retail website to teams developing the newest products and services. You will leverage your education and applied work experience to become a key member on a new infrastructure cost allocation project. Key Responsibilities:

· Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics or relative quantitative field · 1+ years’ experience articulating business questions and using quantitative techniques to arrive at a solution using available data · Design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets · Excellent verbal and written communication · Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills · Thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment · Ability to self-direct, multitask, and prioritize · Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and drive results · Experience in working
