WW Dangerous Goods (DG) analytics team is looking for an energetic, creative, and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer with a solid background in analytics to join our team. We are working on the future, and are responsible ensuring potentially dangerous products are properly identified for the safety of our Customers and our associates. We regularly use data to pitch ideas and drive innovation to improve existing DG programs to solve problems focused on (but not limited to) improving identification of dangerous goods through machine learning, and operational metrics that address the evolving needs of our stakeholders. The DG Analytics team plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our Customers and associates in intelligent ways. Amazon has a strong culture of data-driven decision-making; requiring timely, accurate, and actionable business intelligence that delivers significant business value.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics or related discipline · 3+ years' experience as a Data / Business Analyst pulling, analyzing, and delivering analyses · Advanced SQL (customized queries, automating scripts, ensuring job completion, resolving errors) · Experience with automated self-service reporting tools · Confidence in dealing with technical and non-technical senior level staff and ability to communicate in a crisp, concise and professional manner · Ability to operate successfully and independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment ·
