· Degree in Food Science or a related field · 5+ years of experience in food safety crisis management, and/or similar experience · 2+ years of experience developing, implementing, and improving sustainable crisis management processes (time may have been earned concurrent with above 5+ years of experience) · Thorough understanding of the types of emergencies affecting food manufacturing, handling, transporting food, and retail stores · Understanding of food safety regulations and requirements for manufacturing, handling, transporting food, and retail stores · Strong verbal and written communication
