The open source Amplify Framework's mission is to enable mobile and front-end web developers to build great, innovative apps on AWS. We make it easy for developers to create quality apps that are scalable, secure, and highly available by integrating a broad range of AWS services seamlessly into their apps. The Amplify Framework includes libraries for JavaScript (Web and React Native), iOS, and Android, as well as a powerful Command Line Interface (CLI) toolchain. The Amplify Framework team is looking for a passionate, hard-working, and committed Creative Director to drive and deliver the design direction for the product. This includes designing our online presence (product, community, and documentation websites) and a growing ecosystem of software components, such as bots, image galleries, and more, that developers can easily integrate into their apps. The ideal candidate is passionate about new opportunities and has a strong track record
· BS in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or related field (in lieu of degree, 7 years of relevant work experience) · 5+ years experience as a key member of a UI design team participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications · Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment · An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating visual branding, marketing, and great user-centered design solutions · Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions
