Join the team that launched the first-ever Amazon brick and mortar retail store, and continues to innovate and grow this strategic area of our business. The Physical Stores team launches and manages Amazon Books, Amazon 4-star and other emerging retail locations across the US. We are looking for an outstanding Creative Director to drive our creative strategy and execution for both in-store and digital marketing design. This role is for a highly capable leader who can inspire and direct internal and external creative resources, develop compelling concepts quickly, effectively pitch and align senior leadership to new ideas, and work across marketing channels, merchandising, and category teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep portfolio of past work showcasing the ability to bring brands and/or products to life, and experience balancing ongoing campaign work with long-term strategic projects. · 8+ years of relevant professional experience driving creative strategy and execution for a brand, product, service or equivalent. · Bachelor’s degree in design, advertising, or related fields. · Online portfolio reflecting creative and art direction expertise for campaigns that may include 2D/3D graphic design, environmental design, interactive, motion graphics, print, video or web. · Experience with four-color printing processes, and large format printing. · Experience directly managing a design team. · Experience in offline retail strongly preferred. · Experience working on world-class, consumer
