Amazon is seeking a highly-intelligent, high-judgment, self-motivated, and creative professional to join the team responsible for identifying and rapidly responding to emerging topics and other critical corporate communications issues. The ideal candidate will have issues management experience, an extremely strong bias for action and sense of ownership, and be energized by identifying and rapidly responding to a wide range of complex issues involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. This person will be able to effectively work within a small team, while rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done – no detail will be too small and they'll never say "that's not my job". They’ll obsess over details, display poise and sophistication in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity, be able to become extremely smart on complex issues and then effectively educate the team and senior leaders, quickly prepare and distribute issue reports, manage and maintain all team systems, and deliver

Bachelor’s degree · Minimum of 3 years of public relations experience · A track record of effectively owning process creation, management, and improvement · Experience building robust communications programs and delivering results · Excellent writing and verbal communications skills- Issues management experience at a public company, ideally a large and well-known brand - Minimum of 1 years of experience on rapid response issues management - Experience with Salesforce
