We are looking for a Contract Manager, based in Seattle, to support Amazon Canada’s rapidly growing consumer businesses. We are currently looking for someone who has the uncanny ability to always know where they are needed, can identify and implement process improvements, and can effectively work cross-functionally with other teams. A successful candidate will work efficiently and independently, think creatively and proactively in solving problems. Your responsibilities will include: providing legal guidance and requirements to support the launch of new products/features, reviewing marketing communications and advertisements, negotiating, documenting, and managing a variety of third party contractual relationships, including marketing agreements, promotion agreements, master services agreements, NDAs; developing internal processes to simplify legal work; tracking
· 3+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager / Law Clerk · Bachelor's degree · Excellent written communication skills · Interest in learning about Amazon's Canada Consumer business · Previous in-house legal experience · Strong judgment · Experience reviewing and advising on marketing communications · Experience advising businesses and defining requirements for new features or services · Experience working with and managing external counsel independently · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently · Excellent oral communication skills
