Process Engineering team Logistics Process Engineering
Amazon Logistics Process Engineering team is seeking an experienced CAD drafter and operator to complement the current design engineering team. This individual will be responsible for creating detailed module drawings of building area layouts including material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components based on current examples as well as designs supported for future initiatives. Drawings will require a high level of detail in both plan views as well as corresponding elevation views. A successful candidate will be able to work with ambiguous direction and create drawing sets that will satisfy the need to standardize work spaces and designs across a large network of delivery station operations. Also, this individual will lead weekly design and module review calls with required network stakeholders to finalize and approve of updated designs.
· Minimum 5 years operating experience in AutoCAD · Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design · Minimum of 3 year experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment · Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems · Conveyor design and layout experience · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree · Ability to communicate to various audiences · Ability to lead small groups Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation
