Amazon’s Corporate Infrastructure Buildout (CIB) team has an immediate opening for an Infrastructure Systems Engineer Manager. The CIB team leads and executes IT infrastructure builds at Amazon offices and subsidiaries globally. We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer Manager who will lead, develop and perform daily management for a team of infrastructure engineers, tasked to configure, and install IT infrastructure at Amazon offices and subsidiaries globally. The engineering manager will own daily team management, work assignments, documentation planning, automation strategy, training, peer team communication and coordination, while being a technical mentor and lead for the installation of remote system builds of core
· 4 years of strong people management in an infrastructure environment · 4+ years of infrastructure systems and network installation and configuration experience in a corporate office, data center, server lab or remote office environment · 2+ years scripting development experience used in the automation of system/network deployments · Experience working with data and telecom carriers to procure, deliver, and activate network circuits · Ability to engineer solutions and provide support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Linux environment · Clear, professional technical writing and communication
