Environmental Sustainability team Corporate Responsibility (TCR)
Technology and Corporate Responsibility (TCR) plays a vital role in realizing Microsoft's mission by applying the power of advanced technology to critical societal issues -- universal accessibility, environmental sustainability, rural connectivity, and criminal justice reform. TCR's work helps to transform institutions, communities, and lives around the world, while driving business value and fulfilling our responsibility to society. TCR's significant contribution to social good is made through the Accessibility, AirBand and Environmental Sustainability teams and carried out through the University and Academic Relations team, the Cities team and the Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting and Transparency team. The Business Manager will report to the TCR Chief of Staff and work closely with the TCR leadership team to manage executive and team communications and rhythm of business operations, contribute to organizational health, and participate in overall group planning and operations
Facilitate TCR Rhythm of Business and Relationship Management: Manage TCR rhythm of business, including people commitments, internal communications, TCR budget in partnership with Finance, TCR All Hands meetings, MS Poll, TCR Recognition, and Cross-CELA initiatives. Proactively foster synergies and collaborate with senior-level internal stakeholders to ensure a mutual understanding and an alignment of objectives, priorities, resources and rhythm of the business.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree preferred. Effectively changes plans, goals, actions or priorities to respond to changing situations. Ability to drive budget planning, tracking and forecasting, in collaboration with Finance. Ability to design, implement, and manage SharePoint sites. Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. Seeks and leverages different perspectives to bring together creative and relevant solutions that drive business impact. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact
