Amazon Global Fulfillment Services (AGFS) empowers global entrepreneurs and enables product innovation at scale. The AGFS Fees advanced analytics team is looking for a seasoned Business Intelligence Engineer to support the development machine learning and econometrics models to enhance our pricing calculation models, and help third party sellers grow their business on Amazon. The Business Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for developing high quality data pipelines and performing complex exploratory data analysis to improve our understanding of seller's costs, and the impact of our pricing across North America, Europe and Asia. The ideal candidate will have outstanding data manipulation skills, proven analytics capabilities, and strong business acumen. He/she will be a self-starter, comfortable
· B.S. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Engineering. · At least 2 years of relevant experience with manipulating large amount of data in a professional environment · Track record of developing automated reports based on large and varied data sources · Experience solving complex quantitative business challenges · Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams · Expertise in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business
