Amazon is looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills to join our Supply Chain Execution team. In this position, the successful candidate will be focusing on different initiatives for identifying opportunities and implementing ideas to improve our supply chain and order fulfillment costs for low ASP items. The successfully candidate will have the skills to partner with different organization such as operations, transportation, tech, product, and finance teams to support new business initiatives. The candidate should enjoy diving into data then recommending and executing solutions to enhance the supply chain. Position provides opportunities to influence one of the high visibility/high impact areas in the organization. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy and ever-changing environment. · BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Applied Economics or in another quantitative field OR 2+ years of Amazon experience · · 6+ years of hands-on experience in data mining and/or quantitative analysis – both descriptive and inferential/predictive analysis. · · Fluent knowledge of relational databases (SQL). · · Experience with analytics tools such as R or Python · · Experience working with very large, disparate data sets · · Ability to distill problems and constraints from informal business requirements and to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity
